What is the Meaning of Siddhi Buddha Thangka

​Thangka painting depicting Siddhi Buddha is said to be able to grant various siddhis. Siddhi is a supernatural, or otherwise magical power & ability, that is the product of spiritual advancement through sādhanās, such as meditation & yoga.


According to Buddhist scholars, some of these siddhis include abilities such as flying through the air, walking through solid obstructions, diving into the ground, walking on water and so forth.

All of our paintings come from the original birthplace of Thangkas, which is Tibet, Nepal, North India and Bhutan. Depending on the size and quality of details it can take an artist up to three years to complete a single piece, using 24 Carat Gold, Sterling Silver and Himalayan precious & semi-precious minerals.
