Delivery Policy

Our Commitment to Exceptional Delivery
At Gammas Art Gallery, we hold every aspect of your journey with us in the highest regard - from the moment you choose an exquisite Thangka painting to its safe arrival at your home. We take every precaution necessary to ensure your artwork arrives as delicately and securely as it left our gallery, whether it’s a destination within the UK, EU, or across the globe.

Order Confirmation & Artwork Availability
We strive to provide an extraordinary shopping experience for all our patrons. In the uncommon scenario where your chosen artwork is temporarily unavailable, we will promptly notify you and recommend alternatives that complement your aesthetic preferences. In case our recommended options do not meet your satisfaction, rest assured, a full refund will be processed through your original payment method. For real-time availability, we invite you to reach out to us via email at info@gammas.com before making a purchase.

Inventory Status
Our endeavour is to keep our inventory status updated on the website in real-time. Given the unique nature of each artwork, your desired piece might be on the wishlist of other art connoisseurs too. To ensure that the art piece you've been admiring becomes a part of your collection, we recommend promptly completing your purchase.

Packaging with Precision

Each Thangka painting is a unique testament to the incredible skill and dedication of our artisans. To safeguard these treasures, we ensure meticulous packaging that is customised to each artwork. Each piece is carefully wrapped in acid-free materials and securely placed in a sturdy, custom-built tube, providing maximum protection during transit.

Shipping Details
We entrust our artworks to reputable, experienced couriers with a proven track record in handling fine art. For international shipments, we work with trusted services such as DHL and FedEx. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with a tracking number, allowing you to monitor the journey of your Thangka painting from our gallery to your home.

Please note that delivery times may vary depending on the destination. While we make every effort to ensure timely delivery, certain external factors beyond our control, such as logistical issues with the courier, may occasionally lead to delays. We appreciate your understanding and patience should such instances arise.

Upon confirming your order, we will provide an estimated delivery timeline. This timeline begins from the shipping date, not the order date, and is intended as a generous estimate. Our goal is to have your artwork delivered within 20 business days from the date of dispatch, barring extraordinary circumstances. Please be aware that we are not liable for delays or errors made by the shipping company once the artwork is in their possession.

Shipping Fees
Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination, weight, and size of your painting, as well as the selected delivery method. To receive an estimate, please add your chosen artwork to your cart and proceed to checkout. The exact shipping cost will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

International Customs & Import Duties
In our pursuit of sharing authentic Himalayan art with global collectors, we ship worldwide. Please be advised that international acquisitions may be subject to local customs duties, import taxes, and VAT as determined by your destination country's government. These charges are the sole responsibility of the collector and are settled directly with the courier upon importation. We recommend consulting your local customs office for specific thresholds.

Bespoke Packaging & Archival Handling
To guarantee the pristine condition of your artwork during global transit, a dedicated archival handling fee is incorporated into your shipping calculation at checkout. This ensures your Thangka is prepared using museum-grade, acid-free materials and secured within our custom-built, impact-resistant exhibition tubes.

Receiving Your Artwork
Upon receipt of your painting, we kindly request you to inspect the package for any visible signs of damage before signing for delivery. If there is any noticeable damage to the tube or packaging, we kindly ask that you document it with photographs and contact us at info@gammas.com as soon as possible to expedite a claim with the courier.

Please open your tube carefully to avoid any accidental damage to your artwork.

Our dedicated customer service team is here to assist you throughout this process. We are committed to ensuring your experience is smooth and enjoyable, as it should be when acquiring a piece of art.

Special Delivery Requests
We understand that every client's circumstances are unique. Perhaps you're planning a surprise, or maybe your schedule requires a bit of flexibility. If you have a special request related to the delivery of your Thangka painting, such as a preferred delivery time or specific instructions, we encourage you to contact us directly. We'll do our utmost to accommodate your needs within the bounds of our courier's capabilities.

International Deliveries
Our commitment to bringing the beauty of Thangka artistry to the world is unwavering and we persist in our efforts to deliver to as many countries as possible. If you live in a location that typically poses shipping complications, please reach out to us. We'll collaborate with our courier partners to explore the best way to get your chosen artwork to you.

Environmentally Conscious Packaging
While our primary concern lies in the secure transport of your artwork, we are also mindful of our environmental impact. We're proud to say that all of our packaging materials are recyclable and sourced from suppliers committed to sustainable practices. When you receive a Thangka painting from us, you're not only investing in fine art but also contributing to a greener planet.

Changes to Your Order
In the event that you need to change your delivery address after your order has been dispatched, please contact us immediately. We'll coordinate with our courier partners to reroute your package whenever possible. Please note, this may lead to a change in your delivery date.

Delayed Shipments & Secure Vault Storage

If a collector completes an acquisition but is unable to receive the artwork immediately, or fails to provide a valid shipping address within 30 days, Gammas Art Gallery will securely vault the painting at our headquarters. Please note that after 60 days of holding, complimentary storage concludes, and a secure vaulting and insurance fee of €50 per month will be invoiced to the collector. If an artwork remains vaulted and out of communication for over 12 months, the gallery reserves the right to cancel the acquisition, refund the original purchase price (minus accumulated storage and administrative fees), and return the artwork to our active curatorial collection.

Confidentiality and Discretion
We understand the importance of privacy and discretion, particularly when it comes to high-value purchases such as fine art. Rest assured, our packaging is designed to be unassuming, and our couriers are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of our clients.

After-Sales Service
Our relationship with you doesn't end when your artwork arrives; it's just the beginning. If you need advice on handling, framing, or displaying your Thangka painting, or if you simply want to share your feedback, we'd love to hear from you. Our dedicated team of art experts and client service specialists are always available to assist and enrich your experience with Gammas Art Gallery.

In everything we do, we strive to provide a delivery service that's as exceptional as the artwork we offer. We are dedicated to making your journey with us seamless, secure, and, above all, enjoyable.
